I can't split donations between categories as I can't see donor names

If you are prevented from retrospectively splitting a Named Donation between income categories because you can't see the Donor Names, it is likely that your system administrator has chosen to hide your donor names in either your Finance Reports OR Donor Reports (or both), without specifying an envelope (reference) number for each donor. Where you are not permitted to see the Donor Names and no anonymized reference numbering system has been implemented, there is no valid identifier for the system to show you. 

To resolve this, we'd recommend you either:
(1) Unhide Donor Names in both your Finance and Donation Reports (which you can do within the System Settings screen)

OR

(2) Give donors an envelope number (unique reference number) on the Manage Donor screen, so that you can identify Named Donations in the donor dropdown on the edit income screen.
