Can I submit a purchase request across multiple funds?

If at the point of submitting the Purchase request the notification below appears, then 'Cross-Fund payments' are currently turned off for the system.
You can adjust this within the 'System Settings' by going to the 'Payments' section, clicking edit settings on the right and changing 'Cross-Fund Payment Grouping' to 'Allowed'.
