What is a gift of money?
The 'Gift of Money' functionality allows a user (with the appropriate permissions) to submit a payment request without the need to provide a receipt or corresponding paperwork. Although there is an option to upload a receipt if you would like.

When to use the gift of money option
The 'Gift of Money' option is useful where the payment relates to external charitable giving or a discretionary monetary thank you gift or ex-gratia payment.
Transactions entered by this method will bypass the receipt-checking stage of the ExpensePlus workflow but will still require approval as normal.

Enter details for the gift of money
Enter the details for the gift of money and click submit.
Top tip: adding a document or receipts for Gifts of Money is optional, but it's good practice to document / evidence financial gifts that have been given.
