Which bank providers are supported for Open Banking?
GoCardless powers the Open Banking feature used within ExpensePlus.
They already support over 100 banking providers and plan to support more in the future. Keep reading to find out which providers are currently supported.
Important: Not all bank accounts are covered by open banking. In most cases, this is because the banks themselves are yet to opt in to open banking.
All major banks are covered, along with many other smaller banks and financial institutions.
It is however not currently possible to connect to: CAF Bank, CCLA, Kingdom Bank, Metro Bank, The Charity Bank or Equals Card accounts.

Note: Some credit / pre-paid card providers don't include the cardholder name/card number within the automated transaction feed they provide, making it harder to reconcile transactions imported via the automated feed. If your cardholder does this, you may wish to choose to upload transactions to ExpensePlus for that account.
IMPORTANT: Before connecting to Open Banking, it's important to check that you have selected the correct bank provider within the bank settings screen (particularly as some of the bigger bank providers offer multiple options).
What if my bank isn't on the list?
If your bank provider isn't currently on this list, then you can still upload transactions to ExpensePlus, which is quick and easy to do.
GoCardless (who provides the open banking functionality within ExpensePlus) are actively adding new banking providers to the list of providers they currently support. So if your banking provider is currently not supported, it may be soon.
