Are there any additional costs for Open Banking?
For most churches, charities and community groups, Open Banking is free. It is included in your monthly subscription for ExpensePlus.
Each organsiation can connect to up to 3 bank providers for free. Only if you want to connect to more than 3 bank providers, organisations will need to pay an extra fee.
Good to know: although you may have multiple bank accounts with a bank provider, this only counts as one of your 3 free connections.
Note: for organisations on the £5 per month plan (under £10k income), the number of connections is limited to just 1 bank provider (but you can have multiple accounts with that provider).
What if I have more than 3 bank providers?
If you have more than 3 bank providers that you want to connect to Open Banking, thenyou can increase the limit to 10 providers, for an additional fee of £5 per month.
To add this to your ExpensePlus subscription, please email support@expenseplus.co.uk. Please note, we don't offer a reduction in the additional fee if you don't use all the additional connections.
You can also just connect your 'main' 3 bank providers and to upload bank transactions for your other providers where you perhaps only have a small number of transactions per year.
