What does 'New Donor Follow Up' mean?
This article explains what the 'New Donor Follow Up' feature in ExpensePlus is and how it works.
In the communications view for each donor, there is an optional tick box for each donor which is labelled 'New Donor Follow Up'.
If this box is not ticked as 'complete', the donor will appear as 'pending' in the communications view on the Manage Donors screen, and they will be listed in the 'New Donors to Contact' report within your Donation Reports.
You may like to use this feature as a way of checking whether new donors have received a thank you or acknowledgment letter, or if you have followed up with them to request a Gift Aid declaration. It is completely up to you and this feature is used for different internal management purposes by different organisations.
