Who has access to the Payments screen?

This article explains who has access to the Payments screen, and how to customise user roles to give other users access.


Users with the 'Finance Team' role will automatically have permission to make all payments. (For more information, see Exploring User roles.)

If you want to enable other users to make payments, you can customise their user role via the Manage User Roles screen.

You can access this screen, via 'Settings' at the bottom of the side menu or top right of your screen, followed by 'Users' and then 'Manage User Roles'.

Within Manage User Roles, click on the role you want to update with access to Payments.

If you select 'Payments to Make - All Payments', the user role will have full access to action payments across all accounts.

If you would prefer the user to only see and action Payments associated with specific bank accounts, you can set this per account on the Bank & Cash Account Settings screen.

Click the bank account for which you want the user to have access,

In the 'Edit Bank & Card Account' pop-up that opens, click 'Add Access'.

Then in the 'Payments' column, click to add access for the relevant user(s).
